@agiletortoise if you buy enough extra parts on each trip, someday you will have a plumbing repair that requires no trips to the store ...
@chrishannah It just needs a library to convert any images you want to use to ascii art ...
@manton Did you shoot this with your iPhone?
@xinsight @magnuskahr What about an option to always restore text, so the only way data is removed is if the user manually clears the screen?
@dmoren @matt If you are using Linode, you can set up the new server and then swap the IP addresses of the old and new to avoid modifying your DNS entries: https://www.linode.com/docs/products/compute/compute-instances/guides/manage-ip-addresses/#transferring-ip-addresses
For those of us that don't upgrade very often, this is the weight/size comparison that matters. @atpfm @connected @upgrade

@johnvoorhees @viticci I went through this setup on my NUC, and it works as expected. When the client enables exit node usage it routes all traffic through Tailscale.
Depending on your needs, you might also need to do enable subnet routing if you need access to local devices that aren't connected to Tailscale: https://tailscale.com/kb/1019/subnets/
@simonbs A Runestone per room ratio of 1?
@jeromechoo I had the exact same issue. Plus, it ended up coming back with some garbage charging brick that was not what I sent them.
@johnvoorhees @viticci My pleasure. I hope it helps!
@johnvoorhees and @viticci, did you make sure to set up John's Tailscale server as an Exit Node to make sure all of Federico's traffic was routed through NC? I've been setting this up since hearing you talk about it, and didn't realize that by default it won't route anything but "local" traffic through the Tailscale interface.
@stroughtonsmith @_Davidsmith can you imagine if more people in more professions did their work in public? Hey I'm working on this recipe, but it never rises properly ... did you try adding a teaspoon of xxx? Or an engineer whose bridge design doesn't seem to work and someone points out an extra strut in that spot would help a lot. A pipe dream I know, but I think so many things would progress so much faster.
@film_girl I'm not sure what I'm more excited about, this great song or being introduced to song.link!
@atpfm RAID/Ubiqitui NVR question ... setting up my new NVR with four drives I have leftover from previously updating my Synology disks. Went with RAID 10, and in the settings I noticed two drives have ~23,000 hr and the other two have ~31,000 hr. Is there any advantage to putting the drives with similar hours in the same mirroring pair, or should I split them up so each pair has a low and high hour drive? #askatp
@RecDiffs I've dealt with this in two houses now, but in older homes (I mean 1997 and before) no one waterproofed the wall behind the shower tile. Just thinset, tile, and grout right on the wall. Tile and grout are not waterproof, so over time the water migrates through and does its best to destroy your house.
@agiletortoise Allows the system to develop laminar flow prior to entering the junction box.
@heyheymomo me too!
@brentsimmons For a moment I was certain it was getting rusty near the knob ... then I realized you just needed a sprinkle of salt.
