@macstories to add to the regional aspect of foods, hush puppies are almost never eaten with bbq in the south as @johnvoorhees mentioned to @viticci. They are definitely a seafood accompaniment, usually with fried seafood.

@allanjackson @marcoarment I think there has been a significant shift in quality of their recommendations post-acquisition. For example, I never tried a double-edged safety razor before WC said that was hands down THE way so shave (and I agree!). Now? No mention at all of such things on the site.

@dmoren @jsnell @dcseifert @matt ecobee has been great for me for many years now. Imagine, controlling the HVAC system from temperature sensors in the room you are occupying and not the thermostat in an empty hallway!

@atpfm @marcoarment the App Store may not make this possible, but it would be interesting if you could figure out how many of us with the one-time unlock are now also paying the annual subscription. I'm sure some number of people are doing it for the uploads feature, and others just do it because they want to support continued development. If there is a big overlap there, sunsetting the one-time benefits may not hurt that badly.

@alexcox I'm sure there are many people like me that have had pets go through similar things, are big fans of your work, and are happy to have some way of helping put some good into the world in a moment like this. I know your struggle, and hope this is something Nes can bounce back from quickly.
